A remake of the 1970s TV comedy The Secret World is on its way to theaters and IMAX screens, as the Hollywood version has since 2013.
It is being released by MGM as a sequel to the 1986 movie, which starred Michael J. Fox and Elizabeth Taylor, and was about a group of mercenaries.
The Secret Life of Pets is the latest movie to be remade.
It stars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Amy Poehler, Bill Murray, and John Malkovich.
The film opens Aug. 1 at theaters nationwide and in IMAX theaters, and on Aug. 15, it will hit digital platforms.
The movie follows a group known as the Secret Soldiers who protect the king of the jungle from an evil king, played by Bill Murray.
“The Secret World” has grossed more than $1.2 billion worldwide, according to the Motion Picture Association of America.
