When the Senate voted on Obamacare: The best, worst and worst parts

On Wednesday, the Senate will take up legislation that would repeal Obamacare’s individual mandate and make the individual mandate permanent.

The House of Representatives passed its version of the legislation, the American Health Care Act, earlier this week.

President Donald Trump, who is pushing to overhaul Obamacare, says he plans to sign the bill into law on Friday.

The Senate’s health care bill is expected to pass the chamber, though the legislation would need to be reconciled with the House bill, which is set to pass on Thursday.

The Senate’s bill would be the first significant overhaul of Obamacare since its passage in 2010.

President Trump and Republican leadership have not yet said when they will sign the House-passed bill.
